ready for winter yes, if you start now and do a little at a time it will be a breeze . of course i dont live in S.C. where it is summer year round. lol this is where people have real winters. i feel for those in the far north. i couldnt do it. The match box, granny from the Beverly hillbilly's, that is how she and a few of the elders would predict the weather. if it was to rain. the grasshopper would be on its back, sunshine, would be upright. of course it always depended on what way they opened the box. lol no winter prep for me this yr. it will fall to others ( i hope) i will direct from bed. with only 15 it will be a breeze anyway

i seen a beautiful butterfly on the back porch today, it was tiny and fluttering on the floor in distress. there were ants around it and i thought they were eating it alive. i hastily went to pick it up and move it so it wouldnt die a horrible death. there were 2 of them and it wasnt dying.

ya, lol I thought they did that in the air. never too old to learn i guess. my chickens sound like they are trying to clear their throats or crow or something. the tiny one sounds like a kitten. the big one like a goose. they stretch their necks when they make the noise. I just wormed them with wazine about 4 days ago and this had started before that but still the same. I am completely out of eggs and i cant collect them because of the meds. It is like an addiction, I am feigning for my fix. I dont know if i should buy some off the street or go straight to the source the grocery store. Buying off the street is not assurance of the good stuff, they could have bad drugs in them , buying from the store insures you stale crappy eggs but not injected with stuff your body dont need. mind you, i survived on the stores for 45 yrs or so. it is just within the last few yrs. i came to realize just how bad they are. its like someone asking you if you want a 18 yr old cat with mange or a thoroughbred horse that is crossing the finish line. ok, not what i first wanted to compare it to but we will go with that. I have 2 cake mixes in my kitchen and wont fix either one because of the dire situation i find myself in. I think i must go cold turkey. turkey hmm..... wonder if the wild turkeys are laying still???

Don't you think since you gave all those chickens to your neighbor he could bring you some eggs. I hope your chickens aren't getting a bout of That respiratory problem.

i didnt think of him, guess i could ask.... if this is mg it is a different symptom then any other times. should just give them all away. dont want to let go of that phoenix.he is starting to get pretty. comb starting to turn, feathers touching the ground. trying to think of the kind he is. silver gold breasted?
