Granny- been thinking about you today! I hope all went well and the anesthesia wasn't too bad for you.

I saw a home movie a wife made of her husband after his surgery. He kept waking up and going back to sleep. Each time he would wake up he'd ask her who she was and when she said I'm your wife he got all goofy. You're my wife? You're beautiful. I am so lucky. And then he'd pass out. Wake up and start over. Who are you? You're my wife? Wow, you are so gorgeous.

Quite funny.

hi guys, I am home ,ok but tons of pain. the only thing this piils are doing is crossing my eyes and making things difficult. good news is they were able to reattach my tendon without cutting me somewhere else to get more. the cast goes up to my knee and is as blue as blue can get. . they could not get the pain under control at the hospital and they gave me a boat load . one of everything they had. I cant talk well because of the tube they had in me.

Hi Granny! So sorry its so painful, when I had surgery a strong dose of ibuprofen worked better then the pills that make ya funny in the head. Sounds like you have lots of room for everybody to sign your cast! Take it easy gets lot of rest, it over now relax and heal up.

what is that, motrin? i get them mixed up. every muscle i have is hurting. stomach both legs, ,all of them. I have something called adrenal hyperplasia and I have to be giving strong doses of steroid every time my body is stressed. they gave me, tramadol, morphine, dilaudid, nausea shots and i dont remember the other one and i was still in extream pain. then they said i got the fibromyalgea . what ever, i just know i hurt. i am glad to be home though and over done. my husband hid my cigarettes last night , i guess i kept lighting them and falling asleep.my friend that took me was here and she kept waking me up taking them from me. so the next time i awoke, she was gone and so were the cigs. LOLthey didnt know i have a whole carton in the drawer right next to me and a pack of lighters.

I was expecting this and thinking ahead. so HA !

You can get much stronger ones from the Doc.
Have you ever tried that vaping (spelling?) they do now. You can slowly take down the nicotine. It's becoming a big thing worked for my daughter. I also have fibromyalgia and when I had my surgery my muscles hurt so bad It just to even touch them. Thank God it got better every day. Hang in there every minute that goes by is healing.

Don't know if I'm weird or what but the ibuprofen helped the pain better then the pain pills the Doc gave me they just made me funny in the head did nothing for the pain. Well I have to go take care of the chickens their hollering at me.

Pretty sure that Motrin is a brand name for ibuprofen, like Tylenol is a brand name for acetaminophen. I used a horse-sized Motrin tablet after my c-sections, and something like Vicodin for when it was really serious. I mostly took the Motrin during the day and the strong stuff at night.

Hope you find some relief soon! Maybe you can get some lavender candles or oils to help you feel relaxed.
