well, Thank all of you. or both of you. hahahaa I am getting food !! meatloaf today w/mashed. and brown and serve rolls . the best part about it is i dont have to do dishes.

bad part is my dd got her voice back.

she is twice as loud as the children. 18 month old not talking. worries me some as he used to. he is very social though . well, not so much with me but brothers, mom and dad. Kids dont like me. even my own didnt . think it had something to do with diaper changes. that just wasnt on my list. thats what husbands are for. lol Daughter cooks, dishes , kids, cleans, everything. makes me feel bad. I did offer to wash the dishes but she wont let me. She is a good daughter and mother. My husband is of course taking advantage again just like he did with the house keeper. thats why i fired her. make him get off his butt and do something. he is not even putting coffee on now for the mornings. he and I are the only ones drinking it. they drink mud and have their own pot. I think i seen them chewing it. so, I am having fun with my son-in-law. sent him to town today for cigarettes. then I forgot about my meds. so thats another trip, then forgot to give him the money for them. he should be back any min. for that. I have the brooder cages lined up for cleaning tomorrow. Its the little things in life that makes it worth living.

I slept until 10. Got up and called the vet. Discussion went something like this..... Can you see my cat today? I think she has a bladder infection. Sure, we can. Has she been here before? Yes she has. Are her shots up to date? Yes they are. OK we will see her at 2.

Drive there, parking lot is empty. Carry cat crate in, sit down and wait........for about 30 minutes. So I ask if I will see the vet soon. Sure, fill out this form. So I fill out form, take it to the counter. Thank you she says. 30 minutes she says we don't have records of shots for your cat. I say that is because she got her shots from a mobile vet. Oh! Shr says we can't see your cat if her shots aren't up to date.

But, they are up to date. Did you bring her records with you? No I didn't because you didn't need them the last time I brought her in. So she consults the records...... The office is under new management now, beaming smile...... So, can I talk to the new manager? Beaming smile again, that would be me......

So, let me get this right. I have to pay for updating shots she already has, updating her rabies shot that she already has, the office visit, exam ans medications in order to get her seen?

Another beaming smile, yes you will....... OR you could go home and bring them back with you...... Beaming smile......

So, I tell her she can tell her boss that I said she lost a patient because of her beaming smile!

On the way out the door I cast my beaming smile on her.......

At the next vet's office, I walk in, tell them my kitty is sick. They smile and say we are here to help! The vet examined her while I filled out the paper work. Diagnosis- bladder infection. Paid the bill, got the medication explained to me, out the door in 10 minutes. Got to the car, erased the other vet's phone number, put this vet's number on my contacts list. Got home, let the cat out of the crate, went in the house to fix medicine dose. Now I can't find the cat. All of this excitement only cost me $74.

people can be idiots. your smile is perfect. poor kitty. thats the vets that dont give 2 craps about your cat. Rabies ( around here) is the only state required shot. cats and dogs. and in a emerg. situation they dont ask for that. I dont think a vet here has ever asked me for anything including the rabies. did you get help for the cat or do we need to look up some home remedy's? I know for a fact that male neutered cats are prone to kidney stones and need a lower ph diet for life to help prevent them. there is 2 brands on the market for it. purina urinary tract health and the expensive one. science diet.

It's a real shame. The first vet is a very good vet, but, I have zero tolerence for idiot office bunnies! The second vet gave me medicines for her. He did mention that I would have to change her diet.
