Afternoon twisted, just got to read your post from last night about the vet costs & medicine cost. I think I would have keeled over and died. I'm so glad I don't have dogs, very expensive. We had to have ours put down years ago, but I can still remember how pricey it was to take her to the vet. Haven't gotten another one because I found out I'm allergic to them. They are showing re-runs or as we call them leftovers on RFDTV or maybe its RFTV or RDTY that "rural county" also have the Joey and Rory show and Marty Stewart and his wife Connie (smith?). Hew Haw salutes Granny's gona and done it population many ...including the illegals (the ones who read and don't say anything) SALUTE
Morning all.
Glad the little ladys are friendly to you, I'm not very patient with mean roo's no matter the breed. They usually graduate the head of the class and end of vacationing in freezer camp, lol.A cream legbar is a relatively new breed in the US. They are blue/green egg layers that came from crosses of brown leghorns, barred rocks and a Chilean hen (araucana type chicken). I have three hens, they are super sweet. They lay greenish blue eggs. Both of the roosters I have had were meaner than snakes to me, but loved their hens.
They didn't graduate, one went straight to the soup pot, the other one got killed by the neighbor's dog. I have zero tolerance for rooster aggression.....Glad the little ladys are friendly to you, I'm not very patient with mean roo's no matter the breed.
