Granny ran out to the grow out pen to try to get a few pictures of the SFH I hatched 9 weeks ago. They didn't want to cooperate very well, but got a few.

This last picture I would like anyone & everyone to look at the bird in the very back on the right. This egg was marked SFH by the breeder as well, but I think its a mixup. I also got Icelandic & BLRW from her at the same time. Any idea what it is?

DD came over baby got a hold of my computer. its been in repair mode for a while. Those are hands down, the coolest chickens i have seen. would love to pair them with my rooster. I have never seen SFH in colors like that ! of course i never had a hen but

Im not sure where its at on here but you submit your photo and if its picked to use we give it captions and whoever gets the most ovations wins a golden feather membership. I think thats how it works anyway maybe try caption contest in the search bar.

I'm hoping she is a hen, she is twice the size as a couple of the others, has more comb & wattle, but contrary to how it looks in the photo, it is more orange than pink. Do you have any idea on what breed of hen it is in the last picture?
