Morning all, my day started at 7 a.m. here with the letting out of the girls. Then went out to check our farm stand. I see we have sold breakfast early, 1 doz eggs, a jar of jelly & a pint of real maple syrup. Until I check the money box, nothing in it D*nm. Head back to the house to check the security camera and sure enough a gal in her nightie visits at 12:20 a.m. and proceeds to steal the items using her cell phone flashlight app to see grr... I have a feeling this person has hit us before. We've had 2 other times when things went missing, but we didnt have the camera set up correctly to record it. And for some reason the other morning a couple of jars of jam were taken off its shelf and the fridge left ajar because a carton of eggs were pulled out a little bit. Hubby thinks he spooked the person when he left for work really early that morning. They probably heard his garage door open and jumped in their truck and took off. The only problem is of course this is when the SD card got full and didn't record it. We are not certain why it is erasing the newest files first, looking into that. I think the individual might believe that the cameras are fake since we have not contacted the police as our warning sign states that we will do. That's not the case, just have never gotten video before today. Why do people have to steal dang it

Too bad about the thieving, although I am amazed that it is less frequent than it is for you. If you tried something like that here, you'd be cleaned out and the cash box would be gone as well, no matter how it was secured. Common to have copper wire, bee hives, and mail stolen. My friend even had the carburetor cut off her truck sitting in her driveway, and that was in town with tons of neighbors. I think the vast majority of people are honest, but the few that will take advantage sure make you lose faith.

sorry for the lose of the eggs and jelly and syrup. I have never had real maple syrup before. Its expensive . Can you take a still picture of this woman and put it up where the money jar was with a note explaining why the jar is not there ? Make copys because she will be back . If she has hungry children tell her to ask and bring them by. If not then tell her she will be going to jail .

Hi granny, I can't take a picture & put it up on a money jar. My money box is a bank night deposit box that is built into the wall of our farm stand. We are in a very rural area near small town USA. If I thought & knew that this woman was doing it because of a hungry family it would make a differce. Currently she hasnt taken food items other than the eggs. There are lots of veggies on the stand if she needed food to feed children. This person intentionally kept her dome lights off & the headlights of her vehicle. This is not her first time, she was so blatant in regards to being caught that she came dressed in a spaghetti strap nightie. The items we have had stolen this summer include eggs, pure honey, pure maple syrup, jams & jellies & hand crafted natural soap. The high end stuff!
