It has finally cooled off to 72F. It has been near or over 100 a lot. Not including the humidity. Rain just made it worse.

We drove 3 hrs to get DS (VA Clinic) after having surgery for kidney stones. He's a lot better now they're out.

I spent most of the day with the nice cool AC blowing on me. Ahhh. But every time I got out in the heat my chest hurt and I took a nitro. So I think I will be calling the Dr tomorrow & ask what's up with this. I used to just throw up and keep going. Until I was about 40 it didn't bother me at all.

I'm glad I have my pets and new friends to chat with. You help take my mind off me by being concerned about you all.

why only one ? My GS , the one that helps me only has one. He lost one to cancer.

doctors don't know.they said i could have been born without it..i started having bad pain in my back and blood in my urine...i was tested alot had to go to a specialist in lexington..he said there was a place where it was supposed to be but no kidney there..they know about as much as i do which is very little about it..

newfie, are you a smoker ? chest pain from the heat sounds like lungs to me. I am happy we can help you get your mind off things. It helps me like that too. All those nitro cant be good. Are you taking an aspirin a day ?

newfie i have always heard that if nitro helps the chest pain its your heart..if it gives you a headache its not your heart..sure don't sound good with the throwing up..be sure to see doc.

newfie i have always heard that if nitro helps the chest pain its your heart..if it gives you a headache its not your heart..sure don't sound good with the throwing up..be sure to see doc.

I heard that about the heart too but it gives tons of people headache because it dialates the blood vessels and rushes extra blood to your brain AND the lungs.
