@DottiesMum everyone thinks i am old. I guess the name granny kinda does that.. My mom gave me that name. does anyone know what a granny hatchet is ?

I couldn't find the lizard type thing. All I got was some horror story that was turned into a book or something similar. Surely that does not represent granny here

Here's the easy peasy sweet pickle recipe

1 quart store bought dill pickles kosher no garlic. Just make sure their not soggy
2 cups sugar
1/2 cup CIDER vinegar
small table spoon pickling spice.

Drain pickles SAVING liquid
cut pickles into 1/4 to 1/2 inch chunks
put 1 cup of sugar in orginal jar and add the cut pickles
add pickling spice and other cup of sugar and vinegar fill to top with the orginal pickle juice.

Screw back on top shake until sugar disolves

put in fridge

a couple times a day shake the jar and put back in opposite of way it was

good to eat when they change colors (get a darker green) Keep for ever if you don't eat them asap

PS these stay crisp and are so sickenly sweet.
