I agree, I would do anything for my grown children & grandchildren. That's who I am & who you are, but not everyone feels that way. Just as a outsider looking in I would have loved to hear that your DD said no mom, you don't owe me a thing![]()
you and me both
almost forgot to tell you. When you started hatching again it caused my little Fiona girl(dainty white Silkie) to go broody for the first time. She is now sitting on 4 little eggs. It will be a week tomorrow, can't wait to candle. Hopefully they are fertile. I have one other white Silkie & a white splash Silkie that were mud bogging in the chicken run today. They are bearded & got their first hair cuts a couple of days ago. Its amazing how much better they can see. I need to feel sorry for my black Silkie roo & give him a trim. But I find it too much fun watching him chase hens all over the different runs and him missing the doorway, running into the post or fence. Seems to be the only chance the girls got. I currently have 8 roos and wouldn't you know it that the smallest roo is Alpha roo right now. And my dainty little Fiona is head hen of all 3 coops, she is such a Diva
