I wouldn't make it trying to walk around. Too tired.

Then a day in bed won't be too horrible. Rest before they start poking you again!


We are celebrating my son's birthday this weekend. He wants to go out for steak dinner. With potatoes. I think he he could live on potatoes alone! Amazing how quickly food disappears in front of a teenage boy. My little baby is 6'1 now. Hard to believe.

How old is he? They keep eating like that into the 20s

17 now. Senior in high school. I've got another one too, 3 yrs younger. His b-day is next week. Two teenage boys means much less leftovers and a good incentive for me to eat less! Which is a very good idea, but so far it's not happening.

How about you? Do you have a big family?

8 between me and DH. 4 each. We raised all of them. I have twins too. The girls are 36, 33, 28 & almost 25. Guys are 32, 29, 28 & 25 this month. 11 grands from 1-18. I miss them being little even though I love the grands.

That's a lot of mouths to feed! And 4 each girls and boys is a nice balance. Even though we met when I was 18, hubs and I were older when we got married, first time no kids for both of us. The clock was ticking, so two was about all we had time for. I like having boys, although I tease them dreadfully sometimes about how I never got to shop in the pink aisle and a daughter would go with me to the romantic comedy! I hope I'm around to see grandkids some day, but I tell them NO PRESSURE.

Just came in from hanging the laundry and it's getting hot out there already.

I don't care for the heat, but it doesn't get humid here so much not like for you. I was born in MD, but have no memories of it. Dad was in the navy so they moved around. I do remember New Jersey and the fireflies. Wish we had fireflies here!

The chick would poke its chest out, throw that head back and give a 2 syllable squeak. he did it about 6-8 times in a row. I told SD wish i could record it . It has to be a record. Tons of pain again. Pills not helping .
