nope never did that with sausage . The nuggets were eaten seperatly or given to the dogs. Did you make sure you got all of the nugget out of your rooster when you cleaned him???

yup, all my fault. cant check the box it went with the cat litter. only thing i noticed different was the legs looked almost purple. like the shine of black feathers in the sun. it also turned the broth dark.

The brown stuff floating would be cooked blood just skim it off and you should be fine.

when ever you butcher something you should hang it neck down and let most of the blood drain out. also gut it while hanging. Pigs blood you can catch in a container and wisk frequently if your going to make blood sausage in England I think its called black pudding. York would know.
