camping, my husband has a hand crank pasta machine, a pizza stone, and used to make his own beer. We used to make elaborate things all the time. Well, mostly him, I was the assistant. Then we had kids. Think the pasta machine has only been used twice in 17 years! We tried sushi one time, but hubs skimped on making the rice the right way. Didn't taste quite right, but we ate it all anyway. He had no trouble rolling and cutting, though.

If you like fish, you would love some of the Chinese restaurants around San Francisco. Walk in to the bank of aquariums and choose your dinner. Doesn't get much fresher than that!

I know someone who traveled in southern China and her relatives took her to a restaurant where you also choose your dinner. Instead of seafood, there were banks of cages with all sorts of animals.

Use your imagination. It was there.

I'd never considered that, but it makes so much sense! I wonder if that's why Jewel is so small? She's only 45 lbs or so, but her mom was full Weimaraner and dad was full lab. We had her spayed at 6 mos, but she had not gone into heat yet. My cav got HUGE nasty nipples after she went into heat and we didn't want the same for Jewel.
They can get big nippers. Shelters spay at 2lbs 2 mos. That's too early, but has to be done, as people can't be trusted. 6 mos isn't terribly early.

That's what bothers me about the pit population. So many of them are left intact, just to get the big heads on them. But something like 95% or more of all incidents of dogs mauling or killing people are from intact dogs of both sexes. Love those huge bowling ball heads, but not the bite strength that comes with them.

Morning everyone. A nice buck just jumped out in front of me. I had to slam on my brakes, but now I wish I'd hit it...

Ben has started barking when he's kenneled. That's my least favorite bad habit. :/ I want to ignore him, but then I worry that he's desperate to go potty. So when he barks I let him out, make sure he potties, then back in he goes. If he barks after that, then he gets squirted with the water bottle. How's that?

Morning all. Camping, normally when buck start coming outta the woods, the rut is in. I was gonna go hunting this morning but hurt to bad. Made myself get up and go outside. Did manage to finish the framework on the door. Didn't have but one board to screw down. That's all I could do right now. The pains just to intense. Managed to trip on a pair of shoes and bust my tail. No worries. Been falling all my life with the cp. Stunt man ain't got nothing on me lol. I do know how to fall and not get hurt. I do this about once a week. Thank God I'm not clumsy and have cp. You'd have to rap me in nerf.

Camping sounds like a good idea with the water bottle. Pearl uses one on me when I misbehave. I'm always soaking wet. My skin stays prunned. :gig

Twist you said something about not calling a dog fixed because they're really broke after being neutered. Steve Wright asked why do you park on driveways and ride on parkways? Some things don't make sense. Pearl agrees, twist, we need to eat porter. I'd love to try yak. Say it's better and healthier than cow?
