nope yaks like winter/cold/snow......Also not kept in stalls and barns they are in are totally bobcat clean outable.

cook and bake-- mean's I can make a nice romantic dinner for you. not going out to eat saves you from the stress of finding something to wear or getting ready to go out.

go shopping-- why would I want to have to share you with a crowd when you are all I need.

I have to get up anyway for more wood for the fire can I get you anything while I am up??

FYI...We occasionally like to dress up and go out to eat. Keeps our roos on their toes! We might like to shop too! You got me on the firewood. Nailed that. Yes please. A warm blanket , a cocktail and HURRY BACK.

Pops brought the 2 RIR gals home yesterday. Backstory, he was butt hurt that I set up a Q pen. They came from his farm, his GS and GS's GF's young hens. Gorgeous hens.
Shame on me. I wasn't thinking. Pops is 83, brought me these beautiful hens to add to our flock, I set them up like a leper colony. Shame on me. He does things old school, raised chickens since he was a kid. He knew dam well they were healthy and fine to add to our flock. I moved them in to the run today in a look but don't touch pen. I hate that I disrespected his vast knowledge and him. 

you were just being cautious.

or tell him you seen one of yours sneezing and you dont want to take the chance of making his beautiful reds sick.

Well gang, I'm sorta out of sorts tonight so I'm going to call it a evening. Got a call from my 13 year old gd tonight & a classmate of hers shared with her that she is pregnant. It just breaks my heart. My gd's mom was only 16 when she got pregnant with her & it was so difficult for all of us, but most of all her. Her childhood vanished, she had to become an adult overnight. I can't even imagine what will be going thru these parents minds. Just can't stop thinking about it. Night everyone, restful sleep & sweet dreams to all

So do any of you watch "the voice" remember Kat Perkins. She and her family have stayed here at the motel. Her grandparent are just as nice/humble/ and proud of their gd as can be.
