Well, one lady figured it out.

This is the ramp. I know that they can technically fit, but I think it's easier for them if they're raised in it.

camping, I would undo the ramp from the top portion of the 2x4 and screw it to the bottom of the same 2x4. that may let them think there is enough room to get out.

The opening does look small and awkward . is there a door that closes the opening ? If not I would also make it a little bigger. I knew you would figure it Burt and yes I do. No curlers though.
