Yes they charge way too much in fees, the last bout of choke he had cost me about £600 GBP
He could not clear it by himself and in the end we had to take him in the wagon to the horse hospital. It was a right bleep bleep bleep carry on and I just had visions of the same again yesterday. I don't have him insured either for vet fees so it would all be out the pocket.
