yes and think of all of the free time you would have by not being allowed on this site  and you with your fresh golden feathers. 

as funny as I think that it could be. ,its not worth not being able to cut up with y'all every night. I will try my very best to leave this one alone. I don't think that this would carry just a week or two off of the site. Nope not worth it. Now if I knew that I was going to die tonight, that would probably be a different story.

You're probably like my hen that has to stay in the coop with him but as soon as I let em out to free range, she's ready to get rid of him. And he runs straight to the other coops and does his little dance for the rest of the ladies.

I'm also happy to say that what I thought could be bumble foot was nothing. I got everything ready put his feet e salt, raised his foot to look at it and it was perfect. I guess it was just the way he holds it that makes it look swollen on the pad of his feet. I do worry a lot about them .

Good news! It's a good idea to pay attention to stuff like that because it can sneak up on you. I think they might be limping with bumble foot, though. I was giving my girls the once over last month and noticed one had really swollen looking feet compared to all the others. I thought sure she had a problem. Went out at night and took her off the roost to check. Nope! She just has fat feet! (Although she prefers that they are called sturdy.)

Good news!  It's a good idea to pat attention to stuff like that because it can sneak up on you.  I think they might be limping with bumble foot, though.  I was giving my girls the once over last month and noticed one had really swollen looking feet compared to all the others.  I though sure she had a problem.  Went out at night and took her off the roost to check.  Nope!  She just has fat feet!  (Although she prefers that they are called sturdy.)

Lol. . Now that's funny. Yes I was glad to see the bottoms his feet so clean. The water didn't even have but a couple speaks of dirt in it. I have noticed the backs of his legs and between his toes are reddish. I'm not sure if this is normal but from what I've read it seems to be. They've been like that for a while. He acts perfectly healthy and happy . And eats and drinks well.

It was granny. Y'all hens have to get away from us roos sometimes. But in the end, we all come back home to this thread (flock )
