we were living with my GM and I knew mom had no money. It was my birthday and she asked me what I wanted . she was planning on frying 2 chickens for me for dinner. I said I want that chicken. she was confused and said well, Im going to fix the chicken. I said, no, you dont understand I want that chicken. hahaaa  she was my pet for a long time and couldnt of asked for a better gift .

You could try the Silkie with the chick, but you should wait until it's stronger.  As far as putting her with the rest, not until she is feathered.  4 wks or so.  Then you have to watch very carefully to make sure they don't pick on the chick.  It might be easier to introduce 2 of them into the group of older chicks, so if the Silkie can be in with it, that would be good.

Good morning everyone. I really want to apologize if I've missed some of your post. If I did please send it again. These last few days have been a blur.

I have data again! I could go to a public WIFI location but I don't have any up to date virus protection...... And don't knowhow to install it. Mike used to do this for me, but, he no longer keeps Internet at his place.

Mike is not doing well. He does not have an appetite. When he does eat, he is really good about staying on his diet restrictions. He has no energy, at all so sleeps most of the time. The only thing he enjoys any more is sitting in the shower letting the warm water beat down on him.

I have 222 pages of posts to catch up on.

I stayed up cooking jambalaya and cornbread for the plate lunches. Then we all watched a movie. There's a young fella staying with us who is biking across the country. He's raising funds and awareness for something, I haven't found out what. I can share his page later, if y'all are interested and he doesn't mind. He's a very interesting person.
