that is very kind of you but I wouldnt take money from friends. I will get er done. I kinda dont want it done while she is in heat though. I have heard it can be dangerous. so dec. or Jan. for sure. I will use birthday moneys come Jan. if nothing else. Think thats what I did with frosty. LOL how often do they come in heat if they are not pregnant ?

Nothing wrong with processing your own.

Look I know you guys love your critters I have seen y'all post some of the extremes that each of you have went to for them an I can appreciate y'all for that I don't condone killing for killings sake but I do harvest some of my animals for food I buy no meat from stores I raise hogs, cows, sheep and goats, and of course chickens I don't do it for money and I don't sell eggs or birds I do it to feed my families my animals are well cared for and are humanely dispatched I don't form the bonds y'all do well except I may have to clone one little rooster my 2yo has adopted if and when it goes by way of old age . She has to see Charlie as soon as she gets up and makes sure he's on his roots at night.
I hope I never have to explain where our meat comes from to her LOL

Okay this is graphic. Devin says that the first two weeks they bleed and they are grouchy and standoffish.. and then the last week they are swallen and are sticking their butts in the air to everyone and everything begging for it. He says it is funny. He bred Pits

The number one reason I will have a hard time is my 7 year old who is an animal loving boy. He freaked out when we were talking about it. Not doing it for money.. doing it to feed 14 people.
