So we head out to do battle a third time. Polly dead put the charger on and back to finish trying to warm up. Polly running Drop Robert down by 1 of the trucks we used to create a funnel over by the new paddocks. He is in charge of gates and keeping the 2 in while encouraging the other 4 to join them. Also truck handy for him to warm up in. Rod and I go down to the 4 and I drop him off he goes 1 way around the loafing barn and I drive around the other to stop the possible vicious cycle of going around and around the loafing barn. Get them up to the horse barn where we also feed them. Yes and again attempts by Yaks to play ring around the rosey. Then I shoot out gate to block the cliff. and off they go Up the road headed North ( where the wide open spaces are ) the good thing about yaks is they only run about 50 to 100 feet before they stop and look to see what's up. Around the houses (to east side) I go as fast as polly will run across the 2 roads becoming air born and the treats and what not bouncing out and over and into the back of my head. Get them stopped and headed back. Then Some went in the right direction while Sheila and another one decide they should go around the cream house and head NE. I managed to cut them off and thru the garden they go. Yaks can jump quite well, 1 cleared about a 2 1/2 foot fence on the south side of the garden. We get them all headed the right way and down the alley. Here's Robert busy "dicking around with the gates" only gets one side open. Through the gap between the 3 pickups they shoot headed for my "good neighbors" field. Around I go get them turned around again and headed back the right way. After about another 20 minutes of toing and froeing we get them in the right paddocked and locked in. Every time they came to a stop Porter was trying to hop on Granny. Sheila was doing "exploring" and short charges. Back to house to "celebrate" changed out to of Robert's electrical outlets to the 3 hole plugs, with power on.
Then I head into town , 2 different banks, wash, sort, and carton eggs, run and pick up my ex (Sherry) to watch desk, Off to auction. Auction is headed but in a shop with cement floors and no heat there, frozen feet. Did well at the auction get the 2 pickup loaded and almost home, Crap forgot table I had purchased for one of the rooms back to auction to get it. Home for good about 10 pm then Had dinner with Robert and Rod (domino's) Then here to catch up and let you all know I survived.
PS on way to farm I called my brother and told him I was leaving my entire estate to the DOGS and who ever was willing to continue my breeding program. LOL As I am driving up 96 ave. I notice a truck in front of me and he slows was down where the new fence posts are set but the wire is not strung yet. ( hum ) Good Neighbor getting ready to file yet another complaint ??? Only time will tell. BUT we have verbal ok by the county road commissioner that what is up is acceptable.
