Camp & York im not getting any eggs either. My 8 hens are molting. My 6 pullets will be 6 months old on the 5th. We have started using 20 percent protein layer feed instead of fermented chick starter, added light to make 14 hours and still no eggs for 2 plus weeks. Have bought eggs for 1st time since Easter.

Alright. As you guys have requested, I'm booting up the lappy so I can type out recipes for y'all. ;)

My pullets are 8-9 mos old. A handful are 6 mos. plenty old enough to lay. I'm sure the pox has slowed them down some, just like last year. I'm hoping the 9 nests and curtains will help give them some privacy. Also getting the second coop next month, so having Moore room can't hurt. Plus a light. They'll lay or else! :rant

The house we rent out has new tenants moving in this Saturday. Last week the kitchen tap down there started leaking so I got him out to fix it thinking it just needed a new washer but the tap was beyond repair. He took it off and I went got a new set of mixer taps. Let him know I had them so he said he would fit them last Friday but he didn't ring and now I can't get hold of him :smack

I am getting 6 to 9 dozen eggs a day. First time this year I actually have eggs in my fridge for more then 24 hours. Evidently the hens seeing what happened to the extra roosters and the threat of YOUR NEXT really sunk in.
