does anyone know if I can use ANY type of sand in the run ? at Lowes where the cement is they hav some kind there a littl cheaper then play sand. my e is sticking .

I used leveling sand, the kind you use under pavers. It was cheaper than sandbox sand and is working well for me.

The construction sands the best. It has tiny stones in it as well. I use it on my poop boards & this year on all my coop floors.

OH I dropped another 15 dozen peewee and medium eggs off a Domestic violence and rape center today. Thank the lord I did that before the idiot copper incident'

Walking home from the bus stop one day, my sis and I almost got flattened by a deputy sheriff screaming down the road without his siren. He had to swerve around a guy hauling a tractor who stopped to ask directions. Swerved right where we were standing, until I jumped in the ditch. Baby sis was a little slower, but I made her get down too because I could hear how fast the car was coming. Deputy's eyes were bugging out as he passed that tractor on a down hill curve. I yelled at him, you're supposed to have your siren on! He slowed and yelled back that he was on a call. Dummy wasn't in that much of a hurry if he could take the time to yell back. I didn't care. I was MAD!

I was going to call the sheriff's office to complain when I got home, but I never did. Gilligan's Island was on.
