I love seeing older generations actively interacting on the Internet - most grannies are scared to participate on the Internet unlike you.

I was 42 when I had the surgery. Suffered many years with migraines.

I guess by then the suffering would make the surgery less scary.  I had the same kind of migraines from my teens into my 30s.  They only last for less than a day, especially if I barfed.  That would cure it in about an hour.
The suffering definitely put off a lot of fear of surgery & plain just the fact that they finally figured out what was wrong. My family doctor had even wrote me off as a head case. He actually told me I was clinically depressed & that I needed to see a psychologist.
