i posted on that thread Sally. told him to go ahead and open them eggs. he stored them for 30 days then over heated them. LOL

No salt no egg no substituting crisco or margarine or dark brown sugar. It won't taste right. These things are tender and sweet. I haven't been able to eat them since I changed my religion.

SDAs don't eat pork or what the Bible considers unclean. We go to church on the 7th day and believe Jesus is coming sooner rather than later.

So because of that,I haven't had my luscious lard cookies since 2007. These were the cookies that said Christmas to me.

I hope you enjoy them and think of me when you make them.
