I have an opposite chrones disease.. it affects me from my stomach up not down... so my esophugus narrows... This is why I cant be tooo physical in things.. no worries. got a good doctor and have been better.. gets tough about once a month.

if your esophagus narrows does that affect your air exchange

lump took out of my neck when i was 2, appendix , kidney stents a couple times, bladder wall repair, complete hysterectomy, gall bladder, scar tissue , tubes tied, heart stents x3, all surgery's

before 40 yrs old. then my foot.

ok some of it and this is what my dd told me i remember nuttin...i kept saying i saw 2 of everything..dh gets in my face  and says how many of me do you see.i popped my middle finger at him...i was there for 3 days  we get home and he says that was the worse 3 days of my life.i said and how much pain were you in...i also was allergic to morphine.told nurse fireants were all over me..wasn't much i didnt' say or do..i sure don;t want to be drugged again

I'm allergic to morphine too. Makes it tough for painful surgeries.

I am one of those lucky ones you read about that wakes up during surgery. I remember it all. No pain though . One time the dr. was telling dirty jokes while he was operating on me and they were very loud. I giggled and you could of heard a pin drop. dr. said give her more !!! 

Red, beside the $10. tree today I already got what I will get. Twisteds fudge and Linda is/has sent me some too ! My son and DH will not get me anything.  sometimes I will buy myself something though.

I woke up during my first c-section. I was panicked because I couldn't breathe, then I was furious that no one seemed to care that I couldn't breathe. Then I went back to sleep. I used to remember hearing them talk about the baby, but I can't remember now what they said. The second time I was awake the whole time and the doc was talking about hunting. Wish I could have been in a bubble; I was not prepared for the sounds and smells that come with being gutted. :/

I definitely try not to get stressed in a checkout lane. It doesn't do any good, never goes faster lol.

INDEED!!! I hated it when people would come in on Thanksgiving and say.. Im so sorry you are working.. I always gave a smile though even when I was missing my family. I rocked at guest service.. sometimes you just gotta get what you want and leave fast and dont ask for extras..

I had 8 surgeries before 40, brain surgery after 40. Have sworn I will never go under the knife again.
