  once as a child someone gave me snuff (in a little pack) and showed me where to put it but didnt tell me to spit. That was enough for me !!

If my pop couldn't sleep he would put a dip in and go back to bed,I asked him where he spit from the bed he said I don't it's just gone the next day lol

I remember granny bustin us for getting in to her snuff she made up eat a big spoonful each and wouldn't let us spit or get a drink till we thought we was gonna die lol we was so mean they didnt worrying some body taking us they knew in a few hours they would be begging our folks to take us back . Sorta like the "Ransom of Red Chief" LOL
