I don't want to get all serious Tippy, but if you are concerned about how others receive your communications, it might be an area you could focus on and develop in order to deliver your thoughts in a more receptive way that would be more easily embraced? There are tons of online classes and books to help you play the game successfully. Check out these books if you want: GUST by Timothy Johnson, Secrets to Winning at Office Politics, Marie G McIntyre. There are tons of others to train you to use your words to the greatest affect.

Tippy, sorry you had such a rotten day at work. Loyalty is only rewarded if the powers that be value it. If your boss is a jerk, you are helping his (?) career and spinning your wheels for your own. Mutt's advice is good, since you are NOT being recognized as you should be, your loyalty should be for yourself. Sounds like it's just wasted at that company.

Hi Mutt!

Yes, cold here. Damp cold, so feels colder. Hasn't been below freezing, but there was frost this morning that lasted until noon. Seramas have their heat lamp, so it's not too bad for them. 2 more days until school is out. Christmas is sneaking up on me again. I'm not ready! Although hubs did bring the tree inside tonight.

Time to haul out the ornaments! Do you get a tree?
