I know you feel bad, but you don't really want to sell them.

No, I do. My last several losses have been sussex and I'd rather sell them than keep losing them. They're the most valuable birds I have, so every predator loss is like throwing away money.

Depending on how many ya got or how attached you are I know some become beloved pets , loss of one bird can affect your flock greatly

I'm going to set the trap, but I don't know if it will do any good.

The carcass is skinned on the back, missing the head. So I'm thinking a cat. The dogs were barking but I called them in instead of checking.
