ehh.........I probably won't ever pay to go on a crane hunt again tho.

they are big methodical, slow flying, birds.

they do have keen eye site, but you can literally see them coming across a field from a mile away. The only real challenge is to be still, and make long shots.

try an imperfect spot. no deer would want to disturb your throne time!!!
best seat in the house.
Red is it thundering at your house? We have a real thunder boomer going on here. It rained so hard night before last that Greenwood evacuated communities again! Roads are closed in several places in my county. Glad this is not snow, Mike would never make it home tomorrow.
no thunder that I know of. But I am almost deaf.
here ya go red
my phone won't let me open this for some reason.
I got up at 5:30, it is now after 10....... So far I have drank coffee - ate breakfast - ate 6 pieces of chocolate candy - ate lunch - watched it rain and listened to thunder - posted on here and FB...... I have soooooo much to do and my get up and go has gotten up and run away!! Mike gets to come home tomorrow. I sure hope I can get motivated after he is back home. If not, my daughter is going to kill me when she arrives after New Years.
yay.Mike's coming home.
I make my own laundry soap.. Don't pay for cable but Internet... Gonna try and learn gardening next season. That's my idea of frugal living.. We always cook but maybe cheap pizza once a month... Kids are expensive.
how do you make laundry soap?
Reminded me of Robert , he was just potty broke. we went to a flea market and one of the booths was bathroom fixtures. before I could blink the pants were down and he was up. LOL I grabbed him up and off to the bathroom but according to my father it was too late. I didnt go back to the booth but he did the clean up. I guess he had to sell it as used ? lol
Lol I've always wanted to hop on one that was displayed at Lowe's.
crane hunt and duck hunt from the past all I have on my phone.
which one's you bert? I'm guessing the one on the left.

Wishing, someone had to take the pic.

crane is also called rib eye in the sky.

they are very tasty. I will not put them in my duck sausage, like I do the ducks and geese I shoot thru the season.

I don't know how many inches of rain have fallen here in the last 48 hours. But it must have been a lot! My barn/coop is completely flooded! The chickens are up on their roosts because they have to be. There is only about two inche's of water in their stall. But the rest of the barn is under about 4 inches of water. There is no way to drain it away because some farking idiot built the barn in the lowest spot in the pasture. The barn is nearly completely surrounded like it has a most.....

I am so glad I am leaving here!!!! Also glad most of my chickens have been given away and the rest of them go right after Christmas. The neighbor's calves are standing right out in all of this. Poor little shivering things.

Enola, that's crazy about the barn. Glad you are moving. I had a thought about your horse. Maybe post on the PA thread and see if anyone can help you out. Glad Mike is coming home, but probably not half as much as he is!

Well, I figured, but had to ask, just in case you were trying to be sneaky.
