My son is not technically an electrician. He used to be a construction contractor in WV. He specialized in remodels. In WV anyone can do plumbing, electrical, furnaces and AC while remodeling, but the house has to be inspected by a certified inspector before anyone can live in it. He was proud that his electrical work and plumbing work passed inspection almost everytime.

I feel pretty sure he understands what I was describing......

I heard the chickens raising cain and out I went with lily. My barn cat was on the roof of the coop . Its very dark out. I turned and there was DH with spot light and DS with a knife. LOL DH says , wheres the gun ? Is it loaded ? I could tell by lilys actions what ever it was upsetting them was no more. Its a BB gun BTW

the noise I was hearing might of been coyote. I thought it was an odd sound for a chicken.
Well, just had to go flying out there again. barn cats this time yelling.
