LOL Tippy, I am still looking at home made incubators and you are correct, I am still not drinking enough. I am trying very hard though..

Trying so very hard to post on my phone before the battery runs out! Want to wish everyone a very happy Christmas! Hope your day is filled with love, friendship, and lots of good food. And chocolate. Can't foget that!

I will catch up tonight on the computer. Eyes are too old and fingers too fat to do this with any grace.

Thinking of you all today. Wishing you peace and joy!

Much love,
-Lynda

Merry Christmas to you also Wishing!

Granny, I asked my son about it. He said that if I am describing it right and he is understanding what I am describing..... Your heating element is too big for the space you are trying to heat. He says you have two options- make a MUCH bigger incubator - or risk having a fire hazard. He says if your fan malfunctios, you risk not only frying the eggs but burning down your house........
I told you GRANNY! go with the light bulbs!!!

sally, I cant do pictures. the heater coil with insulators is what you showed me and what I have. its just a matter of how low I can go with the fan to prevent fire hazard.
Enola, Is that how your son explained it ? Does he do electrical ?
I dont want you pushing the limit and close to burning down the house, you burn yourself we dont need no house burnt over chicks!

they use those big fans with them heaters for a reason.

Sally go to your thread and save me. Bubbles is being mean and lying. Lol

Granny just stopped in for a moment to wish you Merry Christmas. Just get you a silkie hen and forget that incubater, you don't want to burn your house down.
