There are 2 good things about using at least 2 light bulbs. 1st is it's easy to tell if they are working and 2nd is if one burns out you got another working as a back up.

I run both systems I mentioned in the earlier post and I like both about the same.

where does the fresh air come in ? would it be the 4 holes recommended to drill in the top and bottom sides ?

Yes would be vent holes.

Granny. Two hundred watt bulbs will heat fairly quickly once door is closed

Is that what you use sally a 200 watt ? because I dont think I have ever seen them. my heat lights outside in the brooders are 125 and 250 and they blow very fast

granny! I use two 90 watt in my big one and 60s or 40's in the little ones.
