Nothing like sleeping all day. oh well, Its not like I had a date or anything.. Newfie, Did you get my card ? I am glad you enjoyed your Christmas. I think everyone did. Would love to see picture of the pillow .

Twist, have you researched the buckeye ? I havent but from what I know it might suit you. Its red but more chestnut . a very rich color . I dont know much about the SFH either but that comb dont seem right to me. . If you want some to breed and sell I would go Green fire lines . Mine is from there and it shows.

Now that I have what I need to make the bator it is turning cold. I might just gather supplys and make a mess in the house. I am nervous to start on it. LOL A hole drilled in the wrong spot can mess the whole thing up.

They don't seem to have that mug out here. At least it doesn't show up on line. :(    Don't really need another mug. I don't even drink coffee!  But it's so cute!

You must be feeling a little better. Glad you got out to go look around!

I went with DH's gma to Walmart. Got chocolates, dr pepper, and my favorite brand of beef jerky. I think I've been a little homesick. Thanks to you and everyone for putting up with me today. :hugs

Granny did you ever read birdman's thread? It focused on building various incubators and coops. It's not very active anymore, but it's still there for you to read. And he still pops on sometimes and responds to stuff.

Im glad you are feeling some better. why do you stay so long ? No , I dont think I know birdman ? do you know the name of the thread or a link ?

Twist my Cream Legbars came from one of the breeders that is attempting to write a. SOP for the breed. The ones I have were culled from her flock because they had too much color. They were 12 weeks old when I got them. They started laying at 18-20 weeks old. Their second year they are still laying 5-6 eggs a week.

I found a pet home for them since I can't take them to PA.

Wishing, this is the daddy Silkie from the brown headed Silkie mix
Whoa, never thought a Silkie could look so formidable. Cute but ferocious at the same time, like a Pokemon! That is going to be one interesting chick. Does it have silkied feathers?
Ya know I don't really know. They scoot under momma usually when I come in the coop. So other than checking their bottoms haven't even really checked. Too much going on right now with gd out for her Christmas break. Mosts days I'm thankful my heads attached. Way more energy than I have :gig
