Im glad you are feeling some better. why do you stay so long ?  No , I dont think I know birdman ? do you know the name of the thread or a link ?

DH has a big fam: mom, stepdad, two sisters. dad, stepmom, brother and sister. One full-blood brother and nephew. Then grandparents, god parents, etc. We only come up once a year, so we use our vacation time to have a nice long visit. We alternate Christmas and Thanksgiving.

Only recent picture I can find of me n Bob. I needed a haircut then too. And the sun was in my eyes. And... Lol

Nothing like sleeping all day. oh well, Its not like I had a date or anything.. Newfie, Did you get my card ? I am glad you enjoyed your Christmas. I think everyone did. Would love to see picture of the pillow .

Twist, have you researched the buckeye ? I havent but from what I know it might suit you. Its red but more chestnut . a very rich color . I dont know much about the SFH either but that comb dont seem right to me. . If you want some to breed and sell I would go Green fire lines . Mine is from there and it shows.

Now that I have what I need to make the bator it is turning cold. I might just gather supplys and make a mess in the house. I am nervous to start on it. LOL A hole drilled in the wrong spot can mess the whole thing up.

there is always foam in a can to fix any holes go for it

Pretty picture Sally, what kind of chicken you have that twist is wanting ? need to get him hooked up with a bator and some of your eggs..

I think y'all cross breed them just to see how wacky they look lol
Papa, actually the hen with the floppy comb isn't a cross breed. She is a Icelandic hen, they are a landrace breed. They have been around for many years, but not in the USA. There are four lines that were imported to the U.S. These birds are on the endangered list. I got my original eggs from a breeder. I hatched a roo & 2 hens. Will be breeding them this Spring.
