Geeze Pro, this whole set up isn't right.  Do you tell them how long you are waiting?  They should either pay you or give you a key.  Both, really!  Maybe whoever has the key should text you when they are in their car leaving for work, and only then you will head out to work.  Make them wait a little.  Meanwhile, keep looking for a better job! 

Well part of the temp gig is there's "rules" I'm not supposed to be left alone in the office.

And that doesn't always work - I have a longer commute than any of them!!! Lol
