we cheated and did it when they were still little babies......

The X and I took Megan to get her ears pierced when she was about one year old. I was obviously pregnant again. Megan cried like she got her ear cut off. A little old lady was watching the procedure. She attempted to give me crap because we forcibly held Megan to get the second ear done.

So the lady looked me up and down and said, "Are you going to hold the next one down too?" I told her what I decided to go to my kids was none of her farking business!

Then I noticed Megan was looking in the mirror smiling at the girl that pierced her ears........

They did both at the same time. We thought she was going to bail at any moment. But they had a deal: stuffed toy for $5 with ear piercing. She thought about it for the whole movie. She'll do just about anything for a new baby.

The car is done and I now know how to bleed brakes!!! Yay me... Camping, I love little girls with their ears pierced. I have a 14 year old boy with his pierced... My dad was not so impressed. Lol

DH had his done at 13. His stepdad had to sign for him. So now DS is the only one not pierced.

On cooking I do most of it here , but when I was growing up in what is politely a blended family there was 8 of us kids not the most but quite a number both parents worked it was learn to cook or go hungry lol

my mom always cooked . I didnt get that gene . My step father totally grossed me out when he ate and I would sit there and try to keep from puking and not eat. We were required to eat at the table . after I was older I told mom why I couldnt eat and she allowed me to make a plate and take it to my room. I have always allowed DS to eat where he wants too.
