aa, you got your whole life to finish it and if you die first it wont matter. LOL Did you get done with the in-laws coop?
 
I worked on the bator without cleaning it first and I am stuffy this morning. DU !! I will clean it before I go any further.
 
yes ma'am, I put the finishing touches on their coop, and then delivered Christmas eve. we gave them 4 chickens.

one barred rock pullet
one cinnamon queen pullet
one black austrolop pullet
and one black austrolop roo.

I got the most wonderful surprise this morning!! When I came back in this morning the other half said there's something for you on the bed!! Oh I thought what could that be :idunno

When I had a look he had only gone out and got me that chicken blanket for Harry :eek:
I was unsure to get it or not and was stoping myself spending anymore more money. Harry has a good wardrobe as it is and did I really need another? Probably not but the other half being a monkey and knowing how much I liked it went and got it anyway!! Love him :love

I had wanted to get them a RIR rooster, but the lady I bought the birds from, didn't have any.

I have 20 chicks coming in either late January, or early Feb.

10 barred rock hens
5 black sex link hens
5 RIR roosters
 
I had one rir roo and dont remember much about him but Im thinking I heard they are pissy . Let me know when you get them raised up ..
 
Thanks granny!! I just could not believe it, I was running round with the thing "Look at the chicken rug" Charlie was not quite grasping my excitement and thought I was just crazy :weee
