NO red neck breeding here thank you.

All of the young girl calves would be 1/2 sisters. Now if he turns out exceptional I can try to sell him to someone else for their breeding bull.

UGG, My mind cant wrap around that concept right now.

Well, no more green eggs for me. My EE hen died. They were free ranging and she didn t come when i put them up. Maybe some of my pullets have her green egg gene. Some have her comb type. None of the ones from june s hatch are laying green eggs but july & october hatches have several pullets with 1 row pea combs.

Too bad about your EE. Gene for blue/green shell is supposed to be dominant and is very close to gene for pea combs, so while not linked, the chances are very good for your pea comb pullets laying green eggs! You should come back to the EE sexing thread in the spring when more people need help. Always good to get more opinions. There is a particular person who is very terse, but I just ignore it.

Those dwarf goats you recommended to camping looked darling! Loved the ones with tri coloring. Do the horns have to be removed or are they hornless (is there such a thing?).

If Enola was pregnant before you bought her, she is not carrying Porter's calf is she?

any and all calves would be Porter's as they have all been together for over a year .

Granny I can't keep that many spare bull calves. And they aren't sexually mature for quite awhile.

None of the cows are supposedly related to each other or to Porter.

so if its girls you are still in the same boat. cant breed them back to porter. only chance is if enola is pregnant with a different bull then porter. Right ?

Jane ???

Tame the calf down real good and try AI. You can't keep them all, but granny jr, and enola jr? They are going to be special!
