so if its girls you are still in the same boat. cant breed them back to porter. only chance is if enola is pregnant with a different bull then porter. Right ?

Enola can only be preggers by Porter. And I can breed him to his daughters. I do not want to but could. I will start look for a second bull or a replacement bull in a couple years.

Actually hope to get a Cow with a bull calf at her side, or but a preggers and hope for a bull calf.

It would not be a huge genetic disaster. Actually many breeding programs in the bovine world use father/daughter and mother/son breeding to lock in desirable genetics.

Since Porter comes from some very strong stock, it would probably be a good idea to do some line breeding.

Too bad about your EE.  Gene for blue/green shell is supposed to be dominant and is very close to gene for pea combs, so while not linked, the chances are very good for your pea comb pullets laying green eggs!  You should come back to the EE sexing thread in the spring when more people need help. Always good to get more opinions.  There is a particular person who is very terse, but I just ignore it.

Those dwarf goats you recommended to camping looked darling!  Loved the ones with tri coloring.  Do the horns have to be removed or are they hornless (is there such a thing?).
