tolbunt rooster update: Defiantly an injury. Right where I thought it was too. in the knee there is now a callus. Its from new bone growth. Not sure how he will walk as he is on 1 leg and one knee as of now. I suspect them to both of been broken. Poor guy. He may never make a breeder.

Ohhh no.. There's no fixing it is there....
 
we are sunny and 3 above.

So Robert and Rod came in yesterday afternoon. Brought nothing but bad news I could have smacked them both into next week.

Rod slipped coming out of quanset and there went a bucket of eggs. Noticed that the light on the heat-tape for the water pipes to his trailer weren't on did nothing now all the pipes are frozen. Nothing out there would start, including 2 pickups,2 4-wheelers/and the bobcat. The people I gave 15 hens to only got 13 home alive. Rod didn't check to make sure all they got were the old ones. 8 times I said the old ones are banded did he make sure that is what they took NOPE his response "they looked like old hens"
