I'm lost in the thread and don't know who said what but who ever is dealing with an impacted crop... I have had that issue twice... One time I seperated the bird with no food and just gaterade... Waited to start pooping and helped pull the crap out and it is healthy and happy... Had a second and did what I read on the boards and massaged the crop and fed it oil and it died.... Just an FYI....
Its campings injured roo that has the impacted crop Linda. And the second bird you had with it, did you tilt its head downwards & message the crop towards its throat by chance? That's what I did with mine because I googled it & that's what lots of sites where saying to do. The problem is that the sour liquid does comes out alright, but it also can asperate it into their lungs. I killed my doing that.
