I know granny. But she was going to drive them two hours to me and the other person was just a few minutes away. I couldn't tell her No I want them. I just wouldn't feel right about that. She did tell me that I had dibs but I think it'd be selfish of me to make her dive two hours one way when she could take them to the other person and back in an hour.

I know wishing. There's a reason. When God thinks that I need them, he'll send them to me. I just got my hopes up and was going to start on another coop. It was a want. Not a need. Who knows, they may not have got along with the others.Hey Red.You believe in God, right? Remember all the warnings about bringing in new birds and quarantining for possible diseases? Well, disappointing as it may seem not to get the birds, I think maybe someone is watching out for you, and it is all for the best that you don't get them right now. When the time is right, you'll get some. There might be another plan coming for your future and I think it's good to try not to swim too hard against the tide. Your silkie seems happy having you for company for now.
Maybe an easier way would be to get some hatching eggs and incubate your own. The kids would love it.
nobody did nothing wrong granny. I just got myself all excited and shouldn't have. I can still start on another coop. Don't really need it but it'll give me something to do and I'll have plenty of room if I decide to get a dozen more or so.
I'd love a frizzle like this some day.
