pd love to hear the joke. I don't get offended no matter which crock you were joking about lol.Politics are the reason I have a sister right now that wont speak to me.. I posted a joke on facebook and it made her mad. I still dont know why. LOL and guess it dont matter . I must of been rooting for the wrong team.
X2Too bad Granny
I believe in free association
I believe both parties have sold us down the river but enough of that!
totally agree.I hear ya Red. I really hear you. Seems everything we say has to be so correct, generic and censored so as not to offend anyone and it's hard!
me too. People have different opinions. Not everyone can be right like meJust want to say that I love everyone even though we may not agree!![]()

last I checked we still had freedom of speech . Understand we are not supposed to talk politics on BYC and its not my call but I am doing nothing wrong and we are not fighting. I am simply trying to learn.. I think its a lost cause anyway. LOL
it's very sad wishing. Now if someone disagrees , they're ready to fight. We were at a high school football game and my step dad was joking to another man that pulled for the opposite team . The man got so mad he wanted to fight my step dad. My step dad told him that it's just a game and no matter who won, he was going home after it was over. No stupid game is worth fighting over.I am more worried about your headaches than the dog, quite frankly. You ever speak to a doctor about them in the past or is this something new?
Used to be people could have a difference of opinion and still have respect for one another. We have lost that. Very sad.
I was thinking maybe you could plan on being there when the lady picks Lily up after the surgery. I would have a few questions for her as well, like where is the dog going to sleep and spend most of her day? It's too cold for Lily to spend the night outside. Also, why does the lady want the dog? I wouldn't try to put her off, because I think things will be better for you if Lily is placed in a good home, but your peace of mind is important too. Maybe the lady is a little paranoid about having people know where she lives (gee, don't know anyone like that!). Offer her your phone number and tell her you'd like an update in a few days. You did a lot of work with Lily, socializing her and teaching her a few manners, but I think you've done all you can for her, and it's good if she can move on to a place where someone will be able to work with her. You just need a little reassurance from this lady to put you at ease. Tell her that. If she's a good person, she will understand and give you some grace.

You've got so much on your plate.I think it's best if you let the lady have it her way. If The Liar hadn't been such a schmuck, you would have returned Lily after a week and she'd still be neglected. You gave her a huge boost and got her out of a bad situation. I know you're attached, but this lady sounds like a good person. What Mutt said is very reassuring. Lily will adapt easily, probably much more easily that when you got her, after all the time you put in with her. Hard as it is, I think it's best for Lily and for your 2 dogs at home. Write the lady a note to leave with Lily and ask her to please call with an update. Maybe she can post some pictures on Facebook in the future. Get yourself well, and maybe there will be a calm and housebroken big dog in your future.
Try not to be too sad.![]()

Granny hatchetPlease do whatever it takes to follow through. Understand that you can change your mind, yet you know that will be an unhealthy bad decision for both of you. I certainly won't judge. I think you struggle that she "loves" you, that you wanted a big dog and that you've never gotten over your beloved spaniel that you had to give away.Mutt and wishing, I just need to keep rereading every thing you are saying because it makes sense . I just want her gone so I can start healing and dont change my mind. over done.
