I would lay out random objects, trinkets, junk, empty eggshells.Almost lost a hen again today to a hawk. Kiss were outside with them when we heard something hit the side of the trailer. Ran out and the kinds said the hawk flew off when they got around there. After looked under the porch and my big ee roo was under there. Ran around and three of my hens were hiding behind my main roo Henry. All was safe. Looked the roo over and found a little blood but no wound at all. Know the kids said that they thought the hawk had the roo down. I picked up all the feathers and a few were from my small Brahma hen. Looked her over nothing. Looked at the rest of most of the feathers and some were his but the rest I think we're the hawks. Guess that young roo probably saved my little Brahma. Think I'll keep him. Could he have mad the hawk bleed?. I checked them both good and saw nothing. I'm very proud of him and the kids.
