I must confess, I've not had a minute to catch up, so I hope all is well. Thinking a lot about all of you...sure hope that all of you are finding joy amidst the struggles. Worried about our friends in the blizzard zone! Everybuddy ok?
Thank you all so much for your support and inspiring words. I HATE being a Debby Downer! Gosh, it's tough right now with Pops. Sorry to vent, but it's ridiculous the lack of communication and follow through! Granny went through the BS with her, her DD, DS...

***!!! Shipped Pops to rehab late yesterday. I was there so late and was assured that everything was on it's way, so I left. Shame on me! No orders for meds, medical equipment or PT. No pain medication after hip replacement. He is not on bed rest. His orders are get up with a walker and helper. No raised toilet seat in case he needed to poop. No walker and help to get to the toilet. The fuggars left him in bed all night with a urinal that they spilled on his cell phone!!!! I'm SO MAD!!! Now he can't call out or get calls! Pops is mad as hell! He can't call anyone and they can't call him. I hate this! I hate being a biatche, hate that I need to. Ripped the lid off the hospital discharge, his Dr's nurse, the rehab. Gotta go buy him a new phone tomorrow.
I am so sorry to drop in with this rant, but it is NEVER ok to not provide respectful care for the elderly or the disabled!!! Don't ever trust the system. Rant over. Love ya'll. Just sayin...

so sorry Mutt. those places are garbage 9xs out of 10. found a man in detroit today dead and thrown in the garbage behind a nursing home where he lived.

Oh so sorry for Pops Mutt & for you. Glad he has you, hope you ripped them the biggest @$$hole they ever had. It is disgraceful what is happenening with our society. Where is the dignity & respect & proper care for our elderly

Oh your kidding me, people need to be held accountable for their actions. I know they will get theirs from the Big Boss someday, but until then they should be held criminally accountable.
