mornin all..i got some sad news.a friend of mine and her DH burned up in a house fire last nite..i don't know any details yet..

How is everyone this afternoon? I've spent the past 4 hours shoveling & snowblowing about 5 inches of heavy wet snow grrr.... Have I told anyone lately how over this winter I am. Temp is hovering just above freezing. Dd apartment has a steel roof. Loads of heavy wet snow & ice keep sliding off into the walkways. If it sits any time at all it freezes to the ground right where it fell. Have to be at the top of my game to keep catching it as it hits the ground. Came in for lunch & to warm up. Then I need to pull some more snow of the roof edges. Certainly don't like this wet stuff coming on top of what's already up there.
