mornings, I put the one egg I got from broody in lock down last night. It did the draw down and possible internal pip. If not its trying to as i see that little hump sticking up against the membrane. I took Sallys advise about putting it a container but I went one step futher and closed it with the lid and made 4 small iar holes in the sides and a larger one in the lid. About the size of a penny. with a small strip of sponge which is still damp this morning. It has a rather large air sac while my others that go into lockdown tonight have smaller then I think they should. the bucket with the sponge didnt change the humidity in the bator

and the use of words was uncalled for I agree. This is the reason we have to nip that now, because of people like that. The other year things got pretty ugly between some hatchers when it wasnt stopped and some cry unfair for the contests as well. No win situation and I certainly dont like having to be the one that has to stop the fun for certain, but it comes with doing the HAL unfortunately.
