Oh, Granny, I was so hoping to pop in and find a better update than that -- so sorry! I am glad that your GS is getting some learning out of it, though, he is such a terrific kid (if he ever goes missing he isn't at my house, lol, seriously, I'd take him in a heartbeat!).
Yeah, me too - - I only go if there is simply NO other choice for what I need that day and I am witchy the whole time I'm there (I swear, I can feel my blood pressure rising just pulling into the parking lot) -- for groceries I can get 99.9% of what I need for less $$ by shopping wisely at Kroger - but there are a few food items Kroger doesn't have and then the issue of needing any sort of socks/underwear/household stuff that means going to WalMart as they are pretty much the only other store in town (TSC needs to start carrying underwear, lol)

Ah, rock hunting - not everyone appreciates it, but I grew up with rockhound family members so it was a frequent "family fun time" for us. Sorry you are hurting, though.
REESE'S SQUARES
1 lb butter/marg softened
4 c creamy pnutbutter
1 tsp vanilla
Mix until smooth and creamy and then begin to add:
2 lb +/- 10 sugar
Add enough to keep it from sticking to hands. Spread into 9 X 13 lightly buttered pan and smooth out
Frosting:
1/4 lb butter/marg
6 tbl milk
1/4 c cocoa
Bring to a boil, remove from heat and add:
1 lb 10X sifted
1 tsp vanilla
Stir until smooth and spread over pnut mixture. Refrigerate overnight before cutting into squares

Looks good Benny, I've got 2-1 gallon jars & 1-1/2 gallon jar brewing right now. I have 2 gals aging & 1 gallon that I use daily. I've gotta strike when the fruit flies are dormant, because when warmer weather hits I don't make it because of the fruit flies it draws.

Two are hanging kits. I'm going to start them on my porch then try them at the new coop. I want to put the third set in the window box, but I'm afraid they'll dry out too quickly. They're white strawberries, supposed to taste a little like pineapple.

It's wild here today with the wind I've been dragged, bumped and set off with by the horses :/ Glad they are all in now for the rest of the day. But meant to be as bad in the morning so getting them out will be as mad in the morning. Was calm first thing and it's got worse as the day has gone on, at least I can hear myself think now I'm back in doors.

I wish I felt like getting into something. my mind is tired of my body sitting here. my body dont care what my mind thinks. LOL I hate the fact of tom getting sick because he is such a PITA . He will have the same thing I have but it must hit him much harder because all of a sudden he is bed bound hollering for someone to bring him a drink or whatever. Worse thing you can do and I dont let him get by with it. thats how the (New-moan-ya) sets in. Ya, I wasnt even going to try. LOL
