You need to see their parent stock (pictures) and if you're looking for blue eggs, you want to see what the eggs look like that they are hatching.  Maybe find reviews or recommendations from others.  A lot of people call themselves breeders, but if they aren't choosing and culling to approach the Standard Of Perfection, they're just reproducing and selling whatever pops out of the shell.  For me, that's fine, I don't need a show chicken, but if I am looking for blue eggs, I want to make sure I'm going to get them.




I'm still trying to get caught up.  Just got done with dinner.  burp!

thanks wishing. I'm fine with no show quality chickens. But like you I'd like to know what the eggs are going to look like. I don't wanna buy a blue egg payer and end up with greenish blue egg.

was playing with lil twist today and he is so mean ! I would push him away and he would come right back with that chest puffed out and peck me ! Hes gonna be trouble.

OH that's cheating I just throw the dead animal in the run    unless its another chicken that goes to the cats or the burn pit.  And then the dead cats go back to the chickens.   Told Robert that's where he is going also. 

I forgot but I could've fed the deer remains for my chickens instead of the coyotes. Darn yea, I hope I don't end up dying in my coop. They'd have me stripped in no time lol.
