Now that's my kind of mug! ;)

I still have that extra silkie roo. only silkie I have a few other roos as well I need to rid myself of. I dont want to eat them . Not sure what I should keep or not keep. Sucks.

Morning everyone! :hugs

Got a roost rigged in the tractor this morning. Working on adding some privacy to the nest box. Supposed to storm today, and a cold front moving through, so I may wait to put them out.

I'm going to leave them lofted for 2-3 days before I let them on the ground. Gotta get a small pan or feeder so I can "ferment" this organic stuff. It's seed kernels but mostly fines, which they leave. Outside I know they'll just kick it out. It was too expensive to not use every settling of dust!!

I know Whatcha mean. I planned on eating both new roos but the ee saved one of my girls from a hawk. Found blood on him and realized it wasn't none of my flocks blood. Had to be from the hawk I guess. So he's safe. Think I'll eat the other one if I can't find a home though.
