No unfortunately not. I'm full up, so the SFH are in the same pen where the Icelandic roo is at. They will need to be seperated at least a month or more to be certain that the Icelandic isn't papa. This snow is just being a hinderance. Can't make breeding pens because of the amount of snow on the ground yet.

ohh, understand ..
Hubby isn't agreeable about using part of the back garage as a breeding pen. Working on that angle yet lol.

Yes we do, got 3" in a hour this afternoon. Just about froze my butt off because a group of my Juviniles had went under one of the other coops & wouldn't come out because of the snow. So glad I checked over there before I locked their coop down. Was about 14 under there & they would come out. I literally had to crawl in the snow to try and reach them. My hands & knees felt like they were going to break off by the time I got them all back to their coop. They are calling for 8-10" with wind. My back can't take much more.

Oh my goodness!!!! You need sunshine!!!!!!! I too worry about you shoveling and stuff....

I'm hoping it will end soon. Feb. & March we still get quiet a bit of snow. Ready for spring :gig

My rir comes running and half flying to me just for walking out the door. I spoiled her by pulling grass and hand feeding her. Now she just stands and looks at me waiting on it. She acts like if I'm outside that she can't get it herself lol.

My birds follow me everywhere. Jerry the roo will try to fog everyone but me. I walk out there and he's a gentleman... But I'm not passed kicking him and he knows it. It took training now he gently grabs food from my fingers and o give him the tiniest amounts.. My hens think they are pups. Lol
